Clash of Clans October 2026: Cosmic Curse Portal Panic & Full Events Calendar
Every Clash of Clans date for October 2026: CWL October 1 to 11, Clan Games October 22 to 28, the Portal Panic Medal Event October 8 to 25, plus the new Totem Thrower and Portal Pendant.

October's season is Cosmic Curse: Portal Panic, this year's Clash-O-Ween, and it runs the full month. Goblins have been careless with a book of portals, two worlds have collided, and the Builder Imp is stuck on the wrong side. The headline additions are a new temporary troop, the Totem Thrower, and new Epic Equipment for the Minion Prince, the Portal Pendant.
Clan War League opens on day one again, so the month starts with the fixture that needs your whole clan to turn up.
The Two Things With The Tightest Deadlines
Most of October runs for a week or more. These two do not:
- Battle Options, The First Curse (October 1 to 5). Five days, and it is the first chance to try the Clash-O-Ween temporary troops.
- Totem Thrower Mass Troop Event (October 7 to 8). One day only, Town Hall 10 and up. You are handed 50 Totem Throwers for free.
Miss the mass troop day and there is no second one on the calendar.
Season-Long: Cosmic Curse
- The season itself (October 1 to 31). Portals, colliding dimensions and Clash-O-Ween troops all month.
- Gold Pass (October 1 to 31). The exclusive hero skin this month is the Shroud Queen.
- Totem Thrower. The new temporary troop hits hard from six tiles away. Every fourth attack throws a cursed totem that stuns nearby defenses and summons a Tiny Totem as a decoy. It leaves when the season ends.
- Cosmic Portals XL Scenery (October 3 to 31). A village twisted out of shape by portals.
- Hero skins in the Shop. They arrive two days apart: Savage King (October 5), Nasty Prince (October 7), Terror Champion (October 9), Behemoth Duke (October 11) and Spider Warden (October 13). All stay until the 31st.
- Cosmic Curse 2025 cosmetics return (October 15). Last year's set comes back for anyone who missed it.
Week 1 (October 1 to 7): CWL and the First Curse
- Clan War League (October 1 to 11). 15v15 or 30v30 for League Medals. If your clan sits it out, or signs up and then fields half a roster, you already know something about it. New to it? Read our CWL guide.
- Battle Options, The First Curse (October 1 to 5). Town Hall 6 and up. Mid-attack you pick between Clash-O-Ween temporary troops and resources.
- Portal Challenge (October 6 to 13). October's Challenge Level. It lets you try the Portal Pendant and the temporary troops before you commit to anything.
- Totem Thrower Mass Troop Event (October 7 to 8). 50 free Totem Throwers, Town Hall 10 and up.
Week 2 (October 8 to 14): The Medal Event
- Portal Panic Medal Event (October 8 to 25). Collect Sour Elixir in battles to fill the Builder Imp's Sour Elixir Fountain. Filling it unlocks rewards, temporary troops and Rift Medals.
- Treasure Hunt (October 10 to 17). Town Hall 3 and up. Find treasure in battle for extra rewards.
- Resource Collector Boosts (October 12 to 14). Collectors produce four times as much. A good window to queue upgrades.
Week 3 (October 15 to 21): The Streak
- Cosmic Streak Community Event (October 16 to 31). Attack at least once a day for seven days in a row. Home Village and Builder Base both count. Finishing the run earns a set of rewards ending in an exclusive base decoration, and breaking the streak means missing out. Supercell has also hinted that if enough players keep their streaks going, Star Bonus could be doubled.
- Battle Options, The Second Curse (October 17 to 21). Town Hall 6 and up. This time the choice is between temporary troops and Sour Elixir, so it feeds the Medal Event.
- Portal Pendant Equipment Boost (October 20 to 25). The Portal Pendant is boosted to maximum level, which is the best time to find out whether it suits your Minion Prince.
Week 4 (October 22 to 31): Clan Games
- Clan Games (October 22 to 28). The usual clan-wide push for rewards. Whether your clan maxes the tiers is one of the clearest signals of how active it really is.
- Resource Collector Boosts (October 26 to 28). Four times the output again, and the last farming window of the month.
What This Month Tells You About Your Clan
October has two clan-wide tests, one at each end. CWL starts on the 1st and Clan Games open on the 22nd. A clan that fills its CWL roster and finishes Clan Games is an active one. A clan that does neither is telling you something.
If yours is quiet, a clan that wants members is easy to find. Browse clans that are actively recruiting, filter to your Town Hall, and check the war record before you apply.
Dates are as announced by Supercell at the start of the season and can shift. Check in game for the live schedule.
